Dawn Song

Dawn Song, a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley, is the co-director of The Initiative for Cryptocurrencies and Contracts (IC3). Her research interests include AI, deep learning, security, privacy, and blockchain. Dawn has received numerous prestigious awards, such as the MacArthur Fellowship, Guggenheim Fellowship, NSF CAREER Award, and ACM SIGSAC Outstanding Innovation Award. She is an ACM Fellow, an IEEE Fellow, and the most cited scholar in computer security (AMiner Award). Dawn is also a serial entrepreneur and has been named on the Female Founder 100 List and Wired25 List of Innovators.
