Jianchang Mao

Jianchang (JC) Mao, a renowned computer scientist, has made substantial contributions to artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational advertising, data mining, and information retrieval. He has held key positions at IBM Almaden Research Center, Verity Inc., Yahoo!, Microsoft, and Google, where he served as the Vice President of Google Assistant Engineering. JC has published over 50 papers, holds more than 30 U.S. patents, and was named an IEEE Fellow in 2012 for his outstanding work in pattern recognition, search, content analysis, and computational advertising. He has also served in advisory roles for startups.
