Gang Hua

Gang Hua is the CTO of Convenience Bee, focusing on computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, and robotics for general Artificial Intelligence applications in cloud, edge intelligence, and new retail intelligence. Before joining Convenience Bee, Gang served in various roles at Microsoft, including as the Science/Technical Adviser to the CVP of the Computer Vision Group and Director of Computer Vision Science Team. He has also held positions at Stevens Institute of Technology, Amazon-Go, IBM Research, Nokia Research Center, and Microsoft Live Labs. Gang is an IEEE Fellow, IAPR Fellow, ACM Distinguished Scientist, and the recipient of the 2015 IAPR Young Biometrics Investigator Award.
